Hello all:
I'm pleased to be back as Rehearsal Leader for Monday 21 June-19 July 2010. With 5 weeks together, we have the opportunity to learn some new songs, brush up some old favorites but most of all have a good time. I want to make sure we have fun, so please come with suggestions for songs to learn/revise. I'm looking through Rosie's old music for favorites. Chloe has given me her songbook too. So let me know and we'll give it a go.
For our first rehearsal together, please listen up to the following songs prior to Monday's rehearsal:
- Walk in the Light (listen especially to the transitions between parts of the songs)
- Lily in the Valley (TBackhouse version)..Sorry, I don't have any recorded parts, maybe next week!
- Oh Happy Day outro vamp....(looking for volunteers to attempt the solos--go for it!)
- Amazing Grace (T Backhouse version)
Bring a friend or two and come prepared to make a joyful noise!
