Band of Angels Gospel Choir

This is just a quick update to advise that the Voice Moves Winter Choir Bash is on again this weekend and we have 7 wonderful choirs to sing for you during the afternoon.Please note that the venue has changed this year. Details as follows:

Date Sunday 4^th July

Venue Riverton Baptist Church

Address 38 Modillion Avenue, Shelley

(Near the corner of Leach Highway and Vahland Avenue)

Cost $5 payable at the door for audience and choir members

Community Singing

What else would a bunch of singers do when they get together?? Please come along to support all the choirs and experience a lovely afternoon of singing. You will of course have to bring your voice to participate in the Community sing-a-long which Im sure will have a very American flavour given the date of the event. The very delightful Tim Fisher from the Ball Point Penguins will no doubt having you singing with great gusto. Family and friends all welcome

We are also again supporting the Salvation Army Winter Appeal and ask that choir members and audience contribute an item of the non-perishable variety to donate to this very worthwhile cause.

Hi,

As you may know I’m involved with Vocal Evolution – Australian Champion Men’s Harmony Chorus. www.vocalevolution.com

Since winning the gold medal in September last year we have been in full swing developing our repertoire and our network, aiming to deliver a broader appeal in what we do. Recently we appeared on Australia’s Got Talent. As well as that we’ve been busy raising funds to assist us in representing Australia at the World Championship competition in July 2011.

We are holding a concert on 5th June at Subiaco Arts Centre and I’d like to ask you to support us by coming along.

This is going to be a night of great entertainment, have a look at the attached promo flyer. We are going to be singing lots of well known songs, all in fabulous four-part harmony.

As well as the concert we are holding a raffle, the prize is a $1,000 gift voucher from JB Hi-Fi. We are limiting the number of tickets to only 300 and tickets are $10 each, you can get them from me.

Imagine a great concert and the chance of a 50 inch plasma TV or whatever electrical hi-fi gadget takes your fancy! What a night!

The flyer gives you all the booking details, there’s a limited number of tickets, so be sure to book early and mark it in your diary as an event not to be missed!
